Swings, 1st stroller ride, shower and just fun times

Our lil man is so, so cute! He makes the cutest expressions and is so content. He definitely lets you know when he is hungry... LOL. Taking 6 oz every 3 1/2 hours during the day. At night we give him a bath, snuggie him up and place him in the bassinet. We don't usually hear from him until 4/ 4:30am for another bottle. Someone said that we are getting spoiled... and we love it!! We got a nice stroller at our 1st shower and he loved going for a walk. He cooed, smiled and then fell asleep before we could get home again. It is fun to watch him roll over and then his face of accomplishment afterwards. These are just a few of our favorite things.

Our Blessing from Above

Lil Paiton is here and we are loving every minute. He was born on January 29, 2010; weighing in @ 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. We loved him before we ever knew him. He is now 7 weeks and 1 day old. As of Tuesday a week ago, he weighed 11 lbs 11 oz and was 24 inches long. BIG BOY! We love seeing his lil expressions and hearing him coo and babble to us and people he meets. Being parents is one of the many blessings that God has granted us and we are so thankful! Below are just a few snapshots that we have taken... (just a few LOL)

A tough decision

We will never forget you Chicago! You gave us 4 wonderful years and we think about you every minute of everyday. It was so fun to watch you prance around the yard, play catch and just be our sunshine!
Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 was one of the hardest days of our lives. We had to make a decision that no pet lover ever wants to make. Chicago had become more and more aggressive, not only toward others, but sometimes us too. No matter how much love and training we gave her, it was getting kinda scary. We knew that we would regret anything happening.

a new post finally-- one of many updates! LOL

Hi again! I feel like I need to re-introduce myself on here...LOL
It's hard to believe that it is the middle of February! Praying for all our friends and family everyday! Hope these next few posts help to brighten your day and give you a glimpse of our wonderful life.

A Tribute to our Service Men and Women then and now

Our school always takes time to recognize Veterans young and old here in Wheeler County. This year the student council asked for other names, like if we had anyone in our families, and they sent invitations and thank you notes to them. My Dad's schedule allowed for him to have the time to come. I was so excited when he called to ask if I had any plans for that day... of course I said nothing out of the ordinary...LOL. He then said he was excited to come and was tickled to get a special note from our school. The Veteran's Program was definitely heart felt and there wasn't a dry eye in the whole gym. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders sang several different songs throughout the program and then a representative from each class said something to the honored Veteran's. Below are pics and a video. I will apologize now for the jumpiness of the video in a couple of spots, I didn't have my tripod and tried to do it myself. LOL Enjoy!!!! Thank you to all our HEROS

BOOOO!!!!

Happy Halloween!
I love coming up with different costumes each year. This year I chose to be a lego block. I had fun cutting the box and placing the cans just right. My kids dressed up cute also. We got to go trick or treating around town to different businesses'. That same afternoon we carved a pumpkin to look like a bat. They had fun feeling the slimy seeds. Enjoy the pics...
